The book is ok but not great. It provides a very brief/shallow/general intro to each theory. Then, the bulk of each chapter consists of a reprint of a research journal article of a study someone else did. For example, Chapter 3 focuses on the theory of reasoned action and planned behavior. The author wrote seven very basic pages about the theory, followed by a reprint of a sample article that is 15+ pages.If you want something simple for less, try: Theory at a Glance: A Guide for Health Promotion Practice (since this one is produced by the National Cancer institute, you should even be able to download it for free online).If you want something more complex, try: Health Behavior: Theory, Research, and Practice (Jossey-Bass Public Health).

I lost the paper copy of this book while at work and downloaded the digital edition so I could do my asynchronous reading. I like the Kindle format but be aware that the case studies that are in the book and may be part of your required reading may not be included in the digital edition due to "copyright" issues.

I needed this book for a class, and I received a very nice rental copy. It had no rips, highlighter marks, dents or anything. I'm glad I got it from here.

I was assigned this book for a grad school class. It's a very clear and easy read. Each chapter discusses a different health behavior theory and breaks the material down in a way that is easy to read and understand. Most chapters also include a diagram or two, which I found helpful since I'm a visual learner. Each chapter also includes a journal article or study that applies that particular theory.

This prayer book is a very good purchase. It is sturdy, well bound, and has nice clean pages. It is very complete with the psalmsand the other usual prayers. The type is a bit small, so be forewarned. The book is thick but small, so it suits my purposes ofbeing able to carry it around for quick prayer sessions on the go.

I bought this as a confirmation gift. One thing to note is that it is smaller than the version that you find in pews on Sunday. It is more designed for the college age to carry in a backpack or car. I was not aware of the size difference because I didn't look So just be aware. Otherwise it is an exact book as expected.

I have perused this book from the catechism to the prayers and back to the ordination rites. It provides a good perspective on the liturgical nature and ethos (practice) of the Episcopal Church. It has a breadth of prayers from: being stewards of creation to the human family, for peace to those in the Armed Forces, for different professions from health care workers to political leaders. It also includes Articles of Religion and the Chicago-Lambeth Quadrilateral, which are historical documents of the Episcopal Church. Though, I might not agree with everything in this prayer book and I am not fond of "King James" English usage (often romanticized as more reverential, which I do not think is necessarily so). I do appreciate how there is room in this prayer book that directs us to be as holistic in our prayers and not shy away from praying for ourselves.

This is not a review of the BCP itself, but of the edition.I had never seen the "chapel edition" before I ordered this, but it turned out to be awesome. Just the right weight and "hand feel" for home use. Not too large, not too tiny. Pages are thick enough for no bleed-through. Very easy print to read and compelling to use.A little bulky for carrying around in a purse, but if you are looking for a copy of the BCP to use at home, this is definitely the one.

This is a great copy of the 1979 Book of Common Prayer; it is a small convenient size with good print. Highly Recommended!

This is the full and complete book of prayer as used in the Episcopal church. It is smaller than the ones typically seen on the back of a pew, so read the dimensions carefully. The dimensions being so small means that the print is small but it is easily readable with my reading glasses. It is the perfect size for gifts or to slip in a purse.

Great reference resource. This book is compact; your church probably uses them in the pews. It is well-constructed and feels sturdy. If you want your own Book of Common Prayer, but aren't quite ready to drop the money on the leather-bound edition, this will be more than adequate for your needs.

I am not part of the Episcopal Church but I love using the BCP for the prayers and daily lectionary. It is smaller in size than expected but that does not detract from its worth. It is small enough to be carried around in a backpack throughout the day and especially useful to bring to services on Sunday mornings if you happen to attend an Episcopal Church. It is nice to have your own copy.

This book goes out of it's way to be hard to follow and understand. I found myself re-reading sections multiple times to tie the concept together in my head. Usually it's a good idea to use multiple resources for study as it gives you a better understanding of the concepts when learned in different ways. In this case I'm not sure it's worth using this book as one of those sources. If I knew what I know now before I bought it I would have put the $50 towards a different training material.

There are so many things on the exam that are either not covered at all in this book, or the book only mentions the topic and doesn't tell you how it works. Then you get to the exam and are in way over your head. It's a shame Cisco's own certification guide doesn't provide enough detail to give you the proficiency to answer the exam questions.

Pros: unlike some technical books I bought in the Kindle version, this book displays correctly on my Kindle Fire.Cons: Kindle version does not include access to the practice tests, which is really the main reason I buy Cisco books for the tests. Since the discount for the electronic version is not that big, this omission does not make sense. All you get access to is some videos and three or so pdfs.I returned the Kindle version and bought the hardback (and yes, I saw the comments about the other content issues with this book).

I agree with the other comments. This book doesn't not have all the information needed to pass the 300-101 exam. I gave it two stars because I have the book for the previous version of the ROUTE exam (642-902) and it was worse in my opinion. Neither book covers PPP, which is listed as an exam topic on the Cisco Learning site. I'm going to be looking for another source of TSHOOT information.

Use the FLG and follow the offician cisco syllabus line for line. I absolutely committed to this book and i have just reached the tipping point and put it aside for just the syllabus and FLG and the online cisco resources. Kevin Wallace is absolutely brilliant with Cisco and his explanations on YouTube are great, but this book is not for me.

By all means it is a decent base to start with, but you will be clueless when it comes to exam if you follow just what is in this book. Missing so much, gives you a tiny paragraph and the exam will ask you 5 detailed questions on a topic. You prepare for lots of EIGRP, OSPF, BGP questions, and legit get like 3 on the exam. Worst Cisco book I've used.

I read this cover to cover as main certification material for exam, I however didn't pass the exam. I found that some exam objectives are not covered in this book.

Currently There really aren't any other options for studying for 300-101in book form, but Kevin Wallace goes out of his way to make sure a subject needs to be overly complex. I found a couple of errors so far. When watching CBT nuggets these subjects are very simple to understand, granted CBT nuggets doesn't give you enough facts and doesn't go over all the material so you still need to read this book to get the 300-101 passed. I feel either he didn't care or he doesn't know how to make things not seem complex. His examples sometimes are counter intuitive.Hopefully there will be another option for this certification, Wendell Odom has made books for CCNA that have made the topics fairly simple to understand.

Some concepts found in the Iranian may be hard for some to except,this book help with that. It strips away the teachings of a fearful God and shines light on the true messages Jesus came to give us. A message of a loving person God, a message that you are truly loved. I have studied many religious teachings and read thousands of spiritual books, I have to say the Urantia and books based on it have made more impact on my spiritual growth and in my life than any other.

A must read for anyone who wishes to know the truth about Jesus and his amazing life, human and divine. This book is giving us a portrait well needed to understand so much more than previously known.

This was a quick reference guide to some of the teachings of Christ from the Urantia book. Very informative.
