Moving up the political ladder, Jackson was appointed to the positions of solicitor general and attorney general, and then to the Supreme Court. When World War II ended, he became the chief prosecutor of the Nuremberg Trials, representing the United States government in these historic international proceedings. i expected a serious academic treatise. this is a paean, and written for junior high kids.
The book does not pretend to be a penetrating study of the man, his times, or his Constitutional jurisprudence. It could, however, serve as an useful introduction to all three aspects for a 7th grader approaching study of law from a biographical starting point.
